Add An Element Of Performance To The A340E Transmissions In Your Toyota Supra Turbo

The 340E is an automatic transmission designed and built by the Toyota Motor Company. It comes from a family of automatic transmissions that include the A340H, the A340F, the A341E, the A343F and the A350E. Internally at Toyota, the A340E also goes by the name 30-40LE. The A340E was built between the models years of 1986 and 2013. This is a very long production life span for a modern automatic transmission.  This transmission is equipped with a 2.804: ratio first gear with helps provide for better off-the-line acceleration.

On the other end of the spectrum, the A340E is equipped with a 0.70:1 first gear ratio (30% over driven) that helps the vehicle achieve better gas mileage. The A340E automatic was used in many Toyota vehicles of the time period, including the Toyota Cresta, the Previa with the 2.4 liter super charged engine, the Lexus SC  400, the Lexus LS 400, the Sequoia SUV, the Tundra full size pickup truck and the 4Runner SUV. It was also used in the Toyota Supra Turbo.

A vehicle is only as good as the transmission that drives it. Maybe this is why the 2015 Toyota Prius is such a spectacular vehicle. It features a continuously variable transmission, otherwise known as a “CVT”. This transmission can effortlessly change through an infinite number of effective gear rations ranging between minimum and maximum values. Sound pretty good? Well, it is! The flexibility associated with CVTs, like the one in the Prius, is what allows the vehicle’s input shaft to regulate a consistent angular velocity.

For instance, when power is preferred over economy at any given moment, the ratio in the CVT will suddenly shift to allow the engine to run at a RPM that produces the highest amount of power possible. Likewise, if economy is preferred over power, the CVT will adjust to increase fuel efficiency. In short, it’s the best of both worlds! Perhaps this is why the 2015 Toyota Prius is considered one of the most sought after consumer vehicles of the year.

Winter Driving Tips: Get the U151E Transmission in Your RAV4 Ready for the Cold Weather

The U151E is a five-speed automatic transmission designed and built by the Toyota Motor Company. It’s a transaxle assembly intended for use in front-wheel drive vehicles. The U515E transmission is very similar to the U151F transmission, with the major difference being that the U151F is designed for four-wheel drive applications. The U151E has a very steep first-gear ratio of 4.235:1 which makes it great for quick take offs, especially when used with small, underpowered engines. On the other end of the spectrum, the U151E has an overdrive ratio of 0.75:1 (24% overdriven) which helps achieve great gas mileage. Toyota first put this transmission into use in 2004 and used it all the way up through the end of the 2012 model year. Toyota used the U151E in many of its branded vehicles, including the Highlander, the Sienna, the Camry and the Avalon. It was also used in the Toyota RAV4.

Proper Care Will Add Years of Life to the U660E Transmission in Your Toyota Avalon

The U660E is a six speed transmission designed and built by Toyota.  It is the successor to the very popular U151E and U151F transmission. This transaxle was designed to be used exclusively in front wheel drive vehicles.  The U660E incorporates an aluminum transmission case and a fully electronically controlled valve body. Speed sensors and throttle positioner sensors send signals to the vehicle’s computer that then uses that information to calculate when the transmission should shift from one gear to another.  This transmission was first put into use in 2007 and remains an optional transmission today. The U660E automatic transmission can be found in many Toyota and Lexus vehicles, including the Estima, the Camry, the ES 350, the Aurion, the Venza, the RX350 and the Sienna. It can also be found in the Toyota Avalon.

Towing A Camping Trailer? Don’t Let The A750F Transmission In Your Tacoma Overheat

The A750F is a five-speed automatic transmission designed and built by the Toyota Motors Corporation.  It is designed exclusively for use in four-wheel drive vehicles. This is a modern aluminum transmission that incorporates a full electronically controlled valve body and a lock-up torque converter. It relies on data from a number of different sensors mounted on the host vehicle.  The A750F used a very steep first gear ratio of 3.38:1 (great for towing) and a very nice overdrive fifth gear of 0.71:1. This transmission was first put into service in 2003 and remains in production today.  It comes from a family of 7XX transmissions that include the A750E, the A760E, the A760F, the A760H and the A761E. Some are five-speed transmissions, and some are six-speed transmissions. The A750F can be found in a number of trucks made by Toyota, including the 4Runner, the FJ Cruiser, the Tundra, the Land Cruiser, the GX470, the LX470, the Hilux, the Fortuner, and also– the Tacoma pickup truck.

The U151 is a five speed automatic transmission built by the Toyota Motor Corporation. It is designed for exclusive use in four wheel drive vehicles. It was first put into use in 2001 and remained in the Toyota lineup a short four years, exiting production in 2008. The U151F comes from a family of transmissions that include the U141E, the U141F, the U141E and the U151E (just like the U151F except not for use in four wheel drive vehicles).  The U151F is a modern transmission that includes an electronically controlled valve body and a lock up torque converter. It comes with a very steep 4.23:1 first gear ratio (excellent for off the line acceleration) and a fifth gear over drive ratio of 0.75:1 (25% over driven).  This transmission could be found in a variety of vehicles, including the Sienna minivan, the Highlander SUV and the luxury Lexus RX330. It could also be found in the Toyota RAV4.

This transmission was used in a wide range of Toyota vehicles, including the 4Runner, the Tacoma, the Tundra, the Land Cruiser 100, the GX 470, the LX 470, the Fortuner, and the Hilux. How to Prolong the Life of the A541E Transmission in Your Toyota Solara

The A541E is a four-speed automatic transmission built by the Toyota Motor Corporation. It comes from a family of A5XX transmissions that includes the A540E and the A540H. This version of the transmission uses a steep 2.8:1 first gear ratio and a very generous 0.735:1 overdrive ratio, which is very helpful in increasing the mileage of the vehicles in which it’s installed. The A541E transmission was first used in 1994 and remained in production through the end of the 2001 model year. This transmission could be found in a variety of vehicles, including the Toyota Avalon, the Sienna, and the Camry, along with the Lexus ES 300. It was also found in the V6 engine-equipped Toyota Solara.
