\nThanks.\u00a0 It is a word that often gets overused or not used enough, kind of like Swiss cheese where there are only two options:\u00a0 you either like it or you don\u2019t.\u00a0 The simple act of saying thank you is easy.\u00a0 You are recognizing that someone went out of their way to assist you with something.\u00a0 You are showing that you value that person and your relationship together. Meaning it? Maybe not as easy.
\nIf you consider the different ways we can thank and be thanked, the opportunities presented every day to say, \u201cThanks,\u201d or, \u201cThank you so much,\u201d you\u2019ll notice there\u2019s some nuance. There\u2019s doing it, but then there\u2019s meaning it. To me, there are three different stages of thanks, like Goldilocks and her porridge or mattress preferences. Some are, you know, porridge. But some are just right.<\/p>\n
