The Silver Issue: Reman U Celebrates 50!

A Look Back & A Look Ahead

This is our 50th issue of REMAN UNIVERSITY. Can you believe it? Neither can we!
We decided to throw a little birthday party for our beloved e-zine, which you can partake in by watching below. We also wanted to give you a “backstage pass” to view the making of a Reman U issue, from initial concept to your inbox.

So, we’ve hit a mini-milestone. What did we highlight in the first 50 issues? What can you expect for the next 50?
The First 50:
• We explained the “Secret to Success.” In two words? Hard work.
• We helped you overcome the price objection and gave you 5 tips to get you started based on the objections our own reps hear.
• We taught you how to use your own video testimonials to increase your closing ratio with “If a Picture’s Worth 1,000 Words…
• Our company grew, and we needed to add a few more great people to our team. So we interviewed. And we hired. We said “Thanks, but no thanks,” and shared with you why some didn’t make it beyond the interview.
• We let down our hair. We brought new things with us to trade shows to get to know our customers better and show them our fun side. Some of you reading even played a mean game of giant Jenga with us!
The Next 50:
• Shiny, new features? Heck yes. Beginning this week, you’ll get industry insights from our friend Jim Lang of Lang Marketing included with every Reman U e-zine issue. If you’re not already getting Reman U in your inbox, sign up here.
• Reman U will become more convenient, better matching your schedule and when you’ve been reading. We’re moving the delivery date from Monday morning to Thursday afternoon.
• We’re working hard to ensure that every issue includes a video – either of Captain Reman delivering the message, or of something relevant, interesting, or amusing.
• It’s hard to believe, but we know we’re not the only cool kids on the block. We’re going to do a monthly interview to bring more value to you, just like “The $6 Million Man” with Mark Schwartzman of Glen Burnie Transmissions.
• Feature articles from time to time will be brought to you by our own team and readers! (Interested in writing an article? See below for contact info).

Thank you for your support, your readership, your feedback, your encouragement, your direction, and your comments along the way.

Help us to bring you Reman U at its best for another 50 issues by:
a) Requesting specific content
b) Volunteering to be interviewed
c) Submitting your own articles
Get in touch with us at captain@remanuniversity.com.
We’ll see you back here and in your inbox next Thursday, March 3rd, 2012. Until then…stay classy, REMAN U fans!
